Ms. Kerkhoff began her legal career as a public defender before changing to civil practice. As a civil practitioner, she has worked on a wide range of civil cases for both plaintiffs and defendants and has represented individual clients and corporations throughout her career, to include local and national charity organizations.

Ms. Kerkhoff excels in motion practice, as well as handling cases from inception to final hearings throughout the central and northern Florida sections of the State of Florida. Estate planning and probate actions in circuit court are a large part of Ms. Kerkhoff’s practice. She also accepts contract work for dispositive motion writing and oral arguments in a variety of estate, trust, and general civil litigation matters from other law firms.

Ms. Kerkhoff has experience as a former trial court staff attorney for the Eighth Judicial Circuit, where she drafted orders and memorandums of law for circuit court judges on a variety of a cases and dockets, ranging from complex civil cases, such as tobacco trials, to homestead determinations, partition actions, and suits to quiet title. She maintained the probate and guardianship dockets in Levy and Gilchrist Counties throughout her tenure with the circuit.
